Early Wednesday morning, NASCAR announced that championship weekend will return to Phoenix Raceway. Championship weekend will take place November 3rd-5th 2024.
Through 2024, Phoenix Raceway would then hold the championship weekend for five consecutive years. NASCAR made the switch to Phoenix after 2019, where championship weekend was held at Homestead-Miami Speedway for many years.
Phoenix Raceway has crowned Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Joey Logano as NASCAR Cup Series Champions. (2020-2022)
Phoenix Raceway has had two races each year for every year that it held championship weekend.
